Statement
After the last few weeks of class, I started to get very interested in the color of light and movement. I created this series with multiple trips to Natchitoches after they set up the Christmas lights. I shot the camera with a long exposure time to see the color of light move. I manipulated the light with different moment. I created different patterns and shapes. It was interesting using the movement of the people. The lady in the pink seems to be a ghost interacting with the horse. This series also gives the viewer an example of how I see Christmas lights without glasses. They are blurry and seem to dance.
